Babysitter Beware
John's House
John's parents rarely get a babysitter. When they do, they are careful to warn the sitter about John's negotiating skills. Things like..."He will tell you we let him play with blow torches and chainsaws but it's not true." The babysitter usually laughs and assures his parents she won't be duped. A few hours later (well past bedtime), John's parents come home to find him in bed with a box of cookies, watching a movie. The sitter, seeing the incredulous look on their faces says, "John told me you let him do it all the time."
