Mayowood Mansion

Our first Mayowood Mansion photo shoot was in 2009. It was for a "pop art" calendar commissioned by the History Center of Olmsted County. Before the shoot, we took an official, guided tour of the mansion to learn more about its distinguished guests, grand parties and imported decor. What captivated us, though, were the stories about the kids who grew up in the mansion. They ate Betty Crocker cookies, listened to music, watched TV and got in trouble for their messy rooms too! We returned in 2016 for an Experience Rochester Magazine photo shoot.
