Re-Carding
It's Like Re-Gifting
A few years ago, we sent this family a Christmas card and got one from them in return. Their card, however, confused us. It was signed by someone else and the picture didn't look anything like them. Turns out, they "re-carded" us. They didn't have their own card because they didn't have a recent family photo. They sent us someone else's card to show us they cared and let us know how much they liked ours. You have no idea how funny we thought that was. We kept the "mystery family" card and display it every holiday season. It's our favorite.
