Married 50 Years
Sharon and Bill are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a big party at the end of this month. Their daughter hired us to photograph them before the party because she wanted to give guests a keepsake picture. We loved her idea but kicked it up a notch and designed 3 hilarious cards that not only matched their personalities, but also told a bit of their story:
Sharon sewed quilts with Hawaiian batik long before it was available in stateside fabric stores.
Sharon asked us to change "buns" to "aebleskivers" because everyone in her Scandinavian family knows what this pan is for. We happily obliged because "aebleskivers" sounds extra naughty.
