Embrace Your Inner Brat

Embrace Your Inner Brat is the title of a magazine article that hung on my office wall when I worked in big business. It served as a daily reminder to stand my ground and believe, stubbornly, that my ideas and abilities are as good as or better than others’. When I see little girls with spunk like this, I think of that article and pray they never lose their inner brat. I tell their moms and dads, “You’re doing the right thing...keep embracing it…they will need it to survive and thrive when grown.”
