It's matching season for US medical students and we just got word that our very own Jack Newcomer matched with Mayo Clinic (his first choice) for a dermatology residency!  We say "our own" because we photographed Jack's headshot for his electronic residency application (ERAS) and formatted his digital photo to meet ERAS requirements for submission:

  • Crop to 2.5 x 3.5 inches

  • Only show head and shoulders

  • Save as a .jpeg with a resolution of 150 dpi

  • Make sure the file size does not exceed 100 KB

We did the cropping and sizing for him because it's not an easy task if you don't know how to use Photoshop or Lightroom.  Also, we did it for other medical students and they matched with Yale, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Brown.
