Kick @$$ Grad Card

Alonso’s mom asked us to design a graduation announcement instead of an invitation. Both types of cards look identical to each other but one includes party information and the other doesn’t. An announcement was the perfect solution for Alonso’s family because he didn’t want an open house when he graduated from high school. His parents, however, still wanted a way to celebrate with family and friends. Our final design was the flat, 2-sided card shown below. We chose the orange color for his name (front) for 3 reasons. First, orange is an analogous color with yellow (chairs). Second, it matched the orange beak of his rubber duck floatie (back). Third, we already had the same orange envelope in stock!
