Nico’s Tacos & Tequila

We photographed Nico's Tacos & Tequila in January 2019 when it opened a 2nd location on Como Avenue in St. Paul. The owners wanted it to feel like Cancun, Mexico.  I thought it felt like a Miami hotspot.  Either way, the bright sunlight, ocean-colored tiles and painted wall mural of Frida Kahlo transport you to a dreamy place where, apparently, you don't get hangovers because all the tequila drinks are made with 100% agave.
