The designer can’t change the style or light source of the photos but he or she can correct inconsistent color and switch backgrounds.

Realtors and lawyers, in general, have the worst headshots.  I see them on highway billboards and cringe.  They have two signature poses - hands on hips and arms folded across the chest - that make them look like smug, powerful superheroes.
