Parker is the quintessential all-american, girl-next-door. Sweet and beautiful inside and out. We took so many amazing senior photos for Parker, her parents bought a photo book so they could keep all of them. They also asked us to submit her violin photo to Southeastern Minnesota Youth Orchestras.

Linnea almost hired someone else to photograph her senior photos. She had her heart set on sunset photos in a field of tall grass but she didn't see any examples on our website. Her mom begged her to talk to us anyway.

Scott found these colorful wall murals when he was in Minneapolis, scouting locations for annual family photo shoots. We saved the murals for this particular family because we’ve photographed them 19 times since 2008 - we know they are goofy and we know they will do pretty much anything we say.

Fall is every Minnesotan’s favorite time of year.  I know because that’s when 99.9% of our families want their annual photos taken.

If you’re planning to buy new outfits for your senior photo shoot, don’t shop at GAP.

Boden is my favorite online clothing store.  It is one of the only retailers that consistently offers classic styles in flattering shapes and bright, happy colors.

The designer can’t change the style or light source of the photos but he or she can correct inconsistent color and switch backgrounds.

Photo shoots are an perfect excuse to shop for new clothes.  If you’re one of our seniors, you’ll need 2-3 outfits – a mix of pants, shorts and dresses that match your personality/style.

Realtors and lawyers, in general, have the worst headshots.  I see them on highway billboards and cringe.  They have two signature poses - hands on hips and arms folded across the chest - that make them look like smug, powerful superheroes.

This dark blue, hand-painted canvas backdrop is a sexy alternative to our standard papers.

For COVID safety, we photographed the employees without masks in separate studio sessions and merged their photos together in Photoshop. Eleven hours later...voila!

Sam wore his Squints (Sandlot) t-shirt and gave us a smile like he just kissed Wendy Pfeffercorn.

Joseph Sedarski is a Rochester MN native living in Boston MA.  He studies and composes music for symphony orchestras, ensembles, stage productions and operas.

We asked a couple of our long-time customers to tell us what makes us better than the competition. We genuinely wanted to know because we’ve never worked for other photo studios before.

Crenlo Engineered Cabs manufactures enclosures for agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and specialty trucks. Enclosures are where drivers sit and control the machinery attached to their trucks. The enclosures protect them from harsh weather. These are photos Scott took at Crenlo's headquarters in Rochester MN for the March 2020 issue of Diesel Progress magazine. 

Disney Pixar published one of our wedding photos in its Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed movie, Coco. It appears alongside hundreds of other pictures in a “digital ofrenda” during the closing credits.

Scott photographed Nickolas Butler for his first book, Shotgun Lovesongs, in 2013. Nickolas published a second book, The Hearts of Men, four years later but his publicist hired someone else to photograph him.
