Ben was a bartender at Tap House downtown when we photographed his headshot for Rochester Magazine’s “Favorite Restaurants” cover. The magazine’s readers chose Ben as their favorite bartender and Tap House’s buffalo cheese curds as their favorite appetizer.

We photographed Tim Nela at Bowlocity for Rochester Magazine’s “Single in the City” cover in November 2014. The magazine introduced readers to eligible men and women looking for love in Rochester MN.

It's matching season for US medical students and we just got word that our very own Jack Newcomer matched with Mayo Clinic (his first choice) for a dermatology residency! 

We didn’t know we’d happen upon a zombie pub crawl when we photographed Pip and Elizabeth’s wedding in 2011 but, when the opportunity presented itself, we took full advantage.

For COVID safety, we photographed the employees without masks in separate studio sessions and merged their photos together in Photoshop. Eleven hours later...voila!

Scott Rogness told us he was a musician but left out the most impressive part - he co-wrote 5 songs for Tom Hank's Beatlesque movie That Thing You Do!

Crenlo Engineered Cabs manufactures enclosures for agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and specialty trucks. Enclosures are where drivers sit and control the machinery attached to their trucks. The enclosures protect them from harsh weather. These are photos Scott took at Crenlo's headquarters in Rochester MN for the March 2020 issue of Diesel Progress magazine. 

Disney Pixar published one of our wedding photos in its Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed movie, Coco. It appears alongside hundreds of other pictures in a “digital ofrenda” during the closing credits.

Scott photographed Nickolas Butler for his first book, Shotgun Lovesongs, in 2013. Nickolas published a second book, The Hearts of Men, four years later but his publicist hired someone else to photograph him.

St. Martin’s Press hired us to photograph a new author, Nickolas Butler, in April 2013. Nickolas needed a headshot for the jacket of his first book, Shotgun Lovesongs.

Mpls.St.Paul Magazine gave us it’s FIRST EVER Diamond Award for Outstanding Photography! The award didn’t come with a trophy so we made our own out of doughnut holes.

We photographed Tessa’s headshot for the August 2009 issue of Wine Spectator magazine. The magazine published a story about her tapas restaurant, Sontes, and the fantastic assortment of fine wines she serves by the glass.

I still worked in Public Affairs at Mayo Clinic when Fast Company published a story about Mayo Clinic’s SPARC Innovation Program in its April 2006 magazine.
